Early Life & Education
Since being introduced to music through piano lessons at the age of 6, 5PiECE always had an immense passion for music and its technical aspects. His affinity for music led him to the Metalworks Institute of Sound & Music Production. In 2013, he graduated at the top of his class with a diploma with honours in Audio Production & Engineering.
Interning For 40 at SOTA Studios
After graduating, 5PiECE mentored under Grammy Award winning producer and engineer, Noah “40” Shebib (Drake, Beyonce, Alicia Keys) as an intern at OVO’s private recording studio, SOTA Studios. During this time, he was able to expand his network and learn from one of the best minds in music today.
Studio Career in Toronto
5PiECE has held engineering positions at several recording studios across Toronto, working on many sessions and offering his taste and expertise in studio recording, mixing, mastering, songwriting and production.
He has worked with hundreds of artists, singers and producers, including Sean Paul, MurdaBeatz, Pressa, MDNTOKYO, 24HRS, and many more.
5PiECE Music & Beyond
After acquiring many experiences working with hit-makers at studios across North America, 5PiECE now offers his expertise and knowledge to artists, musicians, producers, engineers and creatives in the music industry.
His goal is to help music creators get better at producing, recording, mixing and mastering, while providing insight into make a living in the music business. He does this through his services, courses, 1-on-1 lessons and free video content on his YouTube channel.
